En este último libro, León de la Hoz nos ofrece la visión de un naúfrago, que pudiendo ser el mismo autor podrían ser también aquellos que han perdido parte de sus vidas para reencontrarse e inventarse en otras existencias. Edmundo Dantés, Robinson Crusoe, Odiseo y Gulliver son paradigmas con los que De la Hoz se intercambia a lo largo del poemario.
Es un libro de pérdidas, búsquedas y hallazgos a lo largo del recorrido imaginario del personaje por su propia vida. El exilio, la familia, el amor y la propia identidad, se revelan a los ojos del lector como experiencias poéticas pautadas en un lenguaje narrativo y plástico que describe este viaje interior.
